unusual Tunbridge ware single tea caddy by Thomas Barton. coromandel veneered and inlaid to the top with tumbling blocks of various exotic woods, with further inlays of tunbridge micro mosaic strips. the interior has a single rosewood lid with bone knob.
to the underside is a label "T. BARTON Late NYE"
